The Country Code Names
Supporting Organization (ccNSO) of ICANN conducted a workshop at
the WSIS PrepCom III meeting in Geneva. Presentations were
made by Emily Taylor, .uk; Margarita Valdes, .cl; Peter
Kim, .kr; and Mohammed El Bashir, .sd on the management
models of their respective ccTLDs. Giovanni Seppia
provided an overview of the role of CENTR as a regional
organization and Chris Disspain provided an overview of
the role of the ccNSO. The workshop was well attended by
more than 60 people representing governments, civil
society and other interested parties.
